Partner visas

To be eligible for a Partner Visa you must be in a committed relationship with your partner or spouse. You can also apply for a visa if you are planning to marry your prospective spouse. Same sex partners and spouses are  eligible for all visa types in Australia.

You and your partner will be required to present evidence of a genuine and ongoing relationship this will include your relationship financial aspects, nature of your household, commitment and other relevant information. You may also be required to register your relationship to support your application under a law of a State or Territory.
